Atlanta Honorary Board

Would you like to network with other successful Sigma Nu alumni in the Atlanta area?  Are you interested in supporting the good work of Sigma Nu through the Educational Foundation without a major time commitment?

The Atlanta Honorary Board was formed several years ago as a means of enabling personal and professional linkages among Sigma Nu alumni at an annual luncheon.  Held at a convenient location on a weekday, the luncheon includes time to interact with alumni from numerous chapters and to hear a successful Sigma Nu provide insights into his profession.  Speakers have ranged from a highly-successful golf coach to a major corporation’s CFO to a professional football player.

Membership Benefits

Any Sigma Nu alumnus is eligible to join the Honorary Board and receive the following benefits:

  • A positive impact on the future of Sigma Nu
  • Invitation to an annual luncheon to interact with other Sigma Nu professionals and hear from a highly-successful alumnus
  • An Honorary Board paperweight to display at your home or office
  • Recognition in The Delta
  • A tax deduction for your contribution

As a member, you’ll be joining over 75 other Sigma Nus who are committed to furthering Sigma Nu’s commitment to Excelling with Honor in all its chapters.

Members are asked to make a minimum annual tax-deductible contribution of $500 to the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation.  Alumni younger than 32 may join for a minimum annual contribution of $300.  Your contribution will help ensure that the Educational Foundation has the resources to assist the fraternity in maintaining and expanding Sigma Nu’s award-winning leadership development programming.

Your Invitation

You are invited to become a member of the Atlanta Honorary Board and enjoy the benefits of being an active supporter of Sigma Nu in the Atlanta area.  This year, we are welcoming WSB-TV sportscaster Chuck Dowdle (Eta Gamma, Georgia State) as our luncheon speaker.
